Hello,
I have found descriptions of how to fix this in the template for D6, but the solution does not apply here as the css file that is mentioned no longer apparently exists (subtheme.css)
I want to make the text portion of the primary links menu (the actual links, not the region background) white. However, I want to leave every other link the way it is. I ONLY want to change the Primary Links, not the Secondary, etc.
I use Firebug. It doesn't help. Please don't suggest to use Firebug. It is useless here. It shows nothing of use.
I was excited to get started themeing with Genesis instead of Adaptive, but the fact that I have spent four hours trying to recolor the primary links to no avail actually means that I have lost time by using Genesis, certainly I haven't saved any.
Please get back to me. I do not have a live site to show... I am using a test server. BUT it should not be difficult to point out (by an author of Genesis) where the hell to recolor ONLY the PRIMARY LINKS. I have tried the obvious guesses, so if you don't know, don't guess. I want the answer, not guesses.
Thanks.
Paul

Jeff Burnz commentedMaybe it would be more productive if you spent the next four hours learning how to use firebug?

palminas commentedI've added color tags to that EXACT CSS that you highlighted and it does NOT change the primary links color. Whether I specify the color as fff, ffffff, #fff, or #ffffff, the color still comes through as 000000.
I appreciate the help, but that tip does NOT work.

palminas commentedYou're right, you deserve an apology.
I'm sorry. Thanks for your help.

palminas commented... and your tip worked. I was having test server issues. They are worked out now. This issue is closed (and actually wasn't ever an issue)

Jeff Burnz commentedSure, no problem, just be aware that when you post in an issue queue the maintainer gets every post, deleted or not, its forwarded via email immediately.
