Task: Integrate color module into the Gamma subtheme....

The old information for D5 & D6 is at this link, but the D7 integration will take some further reading, and implementation. This can easily be based off of the D7 Garland and Bartik themes.

This IS on the docket.

Very nice, thanks.

drupalgardens.com (drupal 7 I believe) is apparently using the sweaver module, thus, this feature request can be closed, if omega can just integrate into sweaver in a better fashion. Your thoughts on this, along with how it could or could not integrate with omega tools and skinr?

hrm... looking over Sweaver....

It looks awesome.... BUT....

I'm hesitant to add or require support of an additional contrib module rather than using the built in color module.... I know there has been talk about throwing color module away in the future... but it IS in D7, and Garland and Bartik are both supporting it... so I almost feel that is the way to go...

I will contemplate this further as I test integrating the color module, and play with Sweaver.

Okay.... after an evening and morning trying to integrate the core color.module, I have to say... color module sucks horribly...

There is currently no working subtheme inheritance of color module support...
Which means that the gamma_starterkit must included its own color.inc, AND also include the dark.css (default) file in the subtheme rather than inherit it from the Gamma base...

I'm NOT happy at all with this solution with the current state of the color module.
This will be revisited at a stable version of D7, but I'm thinking that I'd like to actually just go back to the selection menu I was integrating and using hook_css_alter to change the scheme to a PRESET color scheme...

Using that method would make it still quite easy to subtheme gamma, and create a new one with the appropriate documentation on all the colors...

Marking as postponed as color.module sucks, and I'm not sure what approach I want to take here....

@himerus You don't actually have todo anything to add support for sweaver - the module itself is completely indepedant.
