I downloaded gamma and omega themes. Installed gamma. Configured it and tried to run it. Got a screen full of garbage with no "intuitive" controls for exit. I found no way to delete the theme. I restarted and decided to delete the Drupal project folder from WAMP'S WWW folder and re-install the drupal project. I did. But when I started Drupal again, the same garbage appeared on the screen.
I could not find the location where Drupal stores program data. I wanted to delete that data so that I could get a new start. Any ideas? I am "way new" to Drupal.

bezelt commentedMy Drupal 7 is now up and running. I deleted, from the C drive, a Drupal folder named "SITE". Then I reinstalled Drupal 7 successfully. There are one or two folders on the C drive that holds Drupal themes. Those folders were independent of the Drupal project folder that was in the WWW folder. I saw a folder holding default themes and others but I did not see a folder holding the theme I had trouble with - gamma.

grendzy commentedMoving to the Gamma issue queue - the original post was made to the Drupal core queue.
Themes can be disabled by visiting /admin/appearance. If that doesn't resolve the issue it's likely the Gamma maintainers will need more information in order to answer your question.

bezelt commentedThanks for your response grendzy. I did not know the proper queue to visit. As I reported, I have since solved my problem by deleting a folder that was outside the Drupal project folder. Deleting the Drupal project folder from the WWW folder and reinstalling it still put garbage on the screen when I went to the Drupal project. But after I deleted the "site" folder and reinstalled, the garbage went away.

himerus commentedThe description of this issue doesn't help too much... I really don't understand what "garbage" was present on the screen... Possibly the placeholder blocks that tell/show you all the regions? those are provided by the omega_tools module, and easily disabled... Otherwise, I'm not sure what would have caused it as I really can't visualize the problem.

bezelt commentedThanks for your response himerus. I did resolve the problem. A description of "garbage" is quite difficult to further define. While what appeared to be random characters filling a whole line and a whole screen might have meaning for some, this screen filled with un-formatted, un-named data looked like "garbage".

himerus commented@bezelt,
If you could in better detail describe what happened and help anyone else that may encounter something similar.
Marking as fixed though since you have resolved the issue.

deejayrig commentedHimerus, I have seen your video, and have installed your Gamma template on my site, CAN'T wait til a patch for changing the color theme is developed.
I have a "dumb" question. How do you add new blocks?
Congratulations and keep it up laprimerasf.com
