I've added a CSS class to a content pane in Panels that just floats it right. In that pane is an image that links to something. The result is that the anchor tag around the image ends up being shrunk to a tiny size and kept in the top left corner of the image (making it pretty useless).

It seems that the same thing happens whether you float left or right. I've done several tests and I'm convinced that it's Fusion that's the problem (not Panels); Garland + Panels is fine; Fusion without Panels is fine.

All I'm adding is a single class:

.float-right {
float: right;
}

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Is there any way we can see this issue in action? It would allow us to see what HTML is output and what CSS is applying to it and then suggest a fix for it. If not, we can guess but I doubt it will be correct :)

It's all on a local dev setup at the mo but I'll see if I can upload an example somewhere. Watch this space...

Here's an example.

(Example link now removed as issue is fixed)

Thanks for posting the link to the example page. I took a look at it and I think I have some CSS that will help you out. Try adding this bit of CSS to your theme's local.css file.

.float-right {
  display: block;
  float: right;
  position: relative;
  z-index: 100;
}

.float-right a:link img.imagefield,
.float-right a:visited img.imagefield {
  display: block;
}

Please give that a try and let us know if it works for you.

Yup! That seems to have sorted it out. Many thanks.

I'm gonna take the example down now.
