Hi.

After updating to the latest recommended version (beta1) of fusion core is there anything that needs to be done in our sub-themes for the update to take effect?

If you are updating from the 7.x-1.x branch to the 7.x-2.x branch, then you will need to re-define any custom Skins to use the Fusion Accelerator module rather than the Skinr module. You can find details in our documentation: http://fusiondrupalthemes.com/support/theme-developers/upgrading-subthemes (near the bottom of the page, 'Upgrading Fusion 7.x-1.x themes to Fusion 7.x-2.x.'

If you are updating from 7.x-2.0-alpha1 to 7.x-2.0-beta1, then there should not need to be any changes.
