More flexibility in the template itself

I'm using the Fusion-theme as base for a few sites of mine, but I sure do miss some flexibility in positioning within the template. The current template has hardcoded positions for several areas and can only be enabled/disabled, while converting these areas to blocks would provide some flexibility in positioning them.

This also would keep the provided CSS-files usable, while disabling areas and placing other blocks (which provide the same content) there would require some more advanced knowledge. I think my feature request would make Fusion even more usable for beginning Drupal users. :-)
