Provides framework that helps with RESTful API development for the front-end applications (web or native). The module itself doesn't expose any REST resources, but contains some base classes for such resources. Developers are able to expose entities through configuring widgets/formatters on the Drupal form/view displays and providing REST resources that expose data and meta-data configured on those displays.

It also integrates with Views (both database and Search API) to properly provide meta-data about exposed filters, so that front-end application could build a form for it from re-usable components.
