Would it be possible in a future version to provide more than one field from the referenced node ?
For example you would be able to output the node title and an thumbnail from the referenced node.
Thanks.

jordan8037310 commentedDefinitely would be nice to have this as a feature.
For my current project I'm going to have to use Views and some Theming voodoo-majiggery to replace fields with a views of the properly formatted content. This as a feature would have saved me some major time. gonna follow for now...

nevets commentedUsing display suite you can add view/build modes and display the desired fields. The you can use the referenced node formatter. (there is one for referenced entities)

jordan8037310 commentedAh, thanks nevets.
I was confused by the documentation/description on the project page for this project. It only states that one field can be formatted, and because this issue queue was open and unaddressed I assumed that this was true.
Just to confirm, I can pull multiple fields from the node reference and display them as I wish using display suite view/build modes? Display suite is something included in Formatters for Node Reference fields, correct?
Thanks in advance for your response!

nevets commentedYes, I there is a formatter for node reference builds that will show the node using the view/build mode of your choice,
