Form Save sounds great! It would save a lot of time for many people. Keyboard Shortcut Utility looks like it would encompass this functionality. Perhaps you should join your efforts with them? THANKS

I've had a look at the shortcut module and although I do like the functionality of shortcut the module I've built is somewhat different in that it deals with specific form issues associated with using ctrl+s to save a form (eg multiple forms, multiple buttons, focus of forms). The main reason I created this module was so that we could then move it into Drupal 8 as this was a possible feature request so I thought a proof of concept would be good.

My code is already committed under the 7.x-1.x branch so have a look and let me know if you still think this needs to go with the shortcut module?
