The Avalanche Forecast module allows forecasters to create an advisory. It does this by creating a new content type "Advisory" with common fields used in the community (Alerts, Threats, Bottom lines, etc.) and can be enabled/disabled to match a forecast centers needs.

Danger roses can be generated from the advisory with configurable elevation labels (8,000 ft, treeline, above treeline, etc.) and a watermark.

NOTE: The D5 version has been running in production since the '08/'09 season for the Utah Avalanche Center and should be considered a model for other avalanche centers. Although no new features will be added to the D5 branch, it is maintained. The D6 version is being actively developed and supported. Some ideas for future development include:
