Can't find the button on the TinyMCE editor.

Hi,
At the outset, I'd like to make it clear that this topic is not a replication of any issues published prior to this one. I have been using this editor TinyMCE 3.3.9.4 and I have followed the following installation steps:
1. I enabled the module,
2. went to configurations and selected "input format",
3. activated the footnotes from the list.

However, I could neither find the "add footnote" button on the TinyMCE 3.3.9.4 or CKEditor, nor on the "plug-in buttons".
