So far I am loving Drupal but not being allowed to use modules I think will get bad can you tell me why each time I try and install a module this problems keeps happening?(ctools-8.x-3.0 (1).zip does not contain any .info files.)

ps I have tried to install by all the possible urls and it does not work as well I am full web designer and I can design in full coding,wordpress,magento,shopify,opencart so in fairness I have good experience so I can't really see any fault on my part.
