Using the alpha5 release and Drupal 6.15. I have a custom content type nl_page, which has a flexifield field which can be of a content type with a filefield (image widget).

Ok some more info, it's saving the flexifield when creating content, but flexifield won't show up in services or on node edit screen until I empty the caches with Devel module.

I ran into the same issue.

The entered flexi-field data on page-creation is showing on "view" but not on the "edit" page.
When I enter additional data, the flexi-field data entered on page-creation is cleared and replaced with the new.

This data, will show up on "page" edit on remain, also after additional page updates.

Therefore, the bug is definitely: flexi-field data entered on page-creation is not saved correctly.

PS: All the fields I am using inside the flexi-fields are CCK fields.

The file-field seems to have an influence on this issue.
