Upload FLV and still create thumbnails

I havent found anything related to this so I'll ask the question. All my videos are in FLV format already so no conversion is required. But, I still would like to auto generate a thumbnail after uploading. Is this possible and how would I accomplish this? Any help on this would be much appreciated.
