HI!
I have successfully installed the module, enabled FFMPEG and tweaked php.ini according to the settings suggested in the documentation.
The module works very well: transcoding and folder settings are working properly and thumbnails are created as expected.
However, I have the following problems:
- the video is there, but it does not show in player on full-node view; regardless of the CCK formatter I set for the field, I can only get it to show it as generic file (e.g. video.flv) or plain URL.
- the original file also displays a similar behavior in both full-node and teaser view.
- the thumbnail field wouldn't show up (even in the code) either in full-node or teaser view
This is my set up for the video content type:
- I have
- Use FlashVideo to convert files from this CCK file field --> video
- Save the finished video to this CCK file field --> output
- Save the finished thumbnail image to this CCK file field --> thumb
- I have placed Player.swf (JW) in the output directory
I have tried several combinations tinkering with almost any flashvideo and CCK setting but nothing changed.
I guess it is a configuration problem but I really cannot find a way to solve it. I am pretty lost at this point.
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

attheshow commentedYou didn't mention using the [video] tag to display the video in your body copy or (alternatively) doing a theme implementation. If you're not sure what I mean, please take a look at the help included with the module.

bohz commentedI think I missed the part where it says the [video] tag is a requirement.
It's working now.
Many thanks

attheshow commentedSure, no problem!

igor.ro commentedI have wrote a module that makes cck file field formatter for flash video.
You can find it in attached file.
If it is ok I can write a patch for flashvideo_cck module to integrate them with each other.
What do you think?
