Hi,
Can someone please explain how I go about pulling the the successfully encoded flv's that I've managed to get onto Amazon S3 into the embed...it seems to continually use the local copies.
Thanks, and sorry if I've missed something obvious

axel pressbutton commentedOK, turns out this is a strange issue.
After doing a complete reinstall and trying again...Amazon S3 was in fact used for the embedded files.
I think there may be a problem if you start out life using local files and then 'switch' to using S3....So for the time being, start out as you mean to go on.
I'll leave this as an active task just in case it gets looked into or anyone else has the same problem.
Thanks for a great module guys

adam_c commentedI'm having the same issue, what steps did you do to get it working? Completely uninstall flashvideo module and then set everything back up again or just disable and re enable the module?
I have a selection of content types with video files and I really dont want to have to reconfigure them all, i think it should be robust enough to be able to turn S3 feature on and off and have everything carry on working as it should.
I also mentioned in another post which hasnt had a rely so ill try again here, when you delete a video node the converted file and thumbnail dont get deleted from amazon server. Is there a way around this?

axel pressbutton commentedHi adam_c,
Sorry for the slight delay in getting back to you on this one.
From what I recall...as it was a year ago now, I think I had to do a complete reinstall of flashvideo. I think things may have changed a lot since then but don't hold me to that.
And sadly I'm not sure at all on the removal question either.
All in all, not very helpful - sorry :(
