As soon as i enabled the module, i got this warning, displayed at the top of my site:
Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of flashvideo_get_video_object(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in "/.../contrib/flashvideo/flashvideo.module" on line "678"

Hector,

Download the attached file, change the extension to *.module, and then replace this file with your current flashvideo.module file. Please let me know if this fixes your problem. If it does, then I will issue a new release very shortly.

Thanks,

Travis

It's seems to be working now. The error is gone.

There's another kind of error, though, i am not sure if this has to do with the module or the hosting or something else.

I create a page > Attach the video, when its complete, i enter some text for the page. When i hit submit, i get the following error:

Fatal error: Class 'ffmpeg_movie' not found in /.../modules/contrib/flashvideo/flashvideo.module on line 577

And this is the error in the Drupal log:
dl() [<a href='function.dl'>function.dl</a>]: Unable to load dynamic library './ffmpeg.so' - ./ffmpeg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in /.../modules/contrib/flashvideo/flashvideo.module on line 16.

Any ideas?

My hosting provider(DH) said i have FFMPEG support. I also tested the FFMPEG in the gallery 2 module, i get no errors.

Thanks again.

Hector,

Are you saying that your problem is gone now? Did this module work for you? The whole ffmpeg_movie error has to do with your server not having FFMPEG-PHP installed (which is different than ffmpeg). I will try and make some modifications so that you don't get this error.

Thanks,

Travis.

Just released version 1.1 that has a fix for this problem.

The initial problem Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated.... is gone, it was fixed with the patch you provider. Thanks.

The error i get now is regarding FFMPEG-PHP, i believe. I am contacting my provider, i will get back if this solves the problem.

Thanks, really, for your help.

Hey, travis, do you mind sharing the code or what you did to fix this warning:
Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of flashvideo_get_video_object(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. This warning has nothing to do with your flash video module, as it has been fixed, however, this is the same warning i am getting with the phpfreechat module. I figure i asked you 'cuz you fixed it in your module.

I am really not a php coder, but i figure i could just change some lines and hope to get the phpfreechat module working and share it if fixed.

Much appreciations, if anybody else knows how to fix this code. Thanks.
