The Flash theme should:

• Be configurable from the Drupal backend (e.g. integrate the Color Module).
• Be extendable without build scripts and use PHP and Drupal functionality.
• Have a lean code base and make features optional.
• Use native CSS grid (not like Bootstrap Grids).
• Target modern browsers, but be backward compatible with older browsers (progressive enhancement/graceful degredation).
• Be able to define module dependencies (when necessary).
• Not provide fancy features that require a lot of JavaScript or dependencies.
• Provide color presets.
• Provide a default installation for Thunder CMS that looks nice.
• Support common theme features/modules: breadcrumbs, title, Paragraphs, etc.
• Display error messages properly.
• Support user pages.

The Flash project should:

• Provide a list with features and design propopals.
• Provide a design specification, like Ramsalt Media (https://thunder.org/free-newspaper-design-thunder-partner-ramsalt)
• Provide a first release with only the most important features.
• Target the Drupal 9 release date for a first (beta) release.
• Evaluate using Storybook (https://storybook.js.org/) for developing components.
