One thing I've noticed when using the autocomplete widget is that the behavior is more like entering keywords than a phrase.
For example, given a node with title: A piece of pizza
So when I type in things like "pizza" "piece" "of" "A" that node item will appear, but if I wanted to see suggestions by phrase, or exactly as I'm typing in, say I type in "A pi" then I could get "A piece of pizza" but I may also get items like "Something with A pi", "From A to pi", etc.. etc..
So it would be nice if we could have an option that could customize how suggestions would be displayed or searched in this sort of behavior.
Thanks!

danielb commentedWhat you're asking for is exactly how the module already works..
Can you clarify the request?

danielb commentedAre you thinking along the lines of this #734188: Order of keywords in an autocomplete field
but with additional fuzzy search results?
or something like, always show 10 best matches, regardless of whether they match the conditions perfectly?

K-Max commentedSorry for the delay.
Close. Say I have a list of nodes like this:
Right now, typing in "App" keyword-wise in the autocomplete field will match:
I was curious if it was possible to do it by phrase so "App" would match
And "Apple S" would match
So basically, as a phrase (or keywords exactly in the order as typed) but from the beginning of the phrase (ie: aa ee DOES NOT MATCH dd aa ee BUT ONLY aa ee)
Thanks! And keep up the great work!

danielb commentedYou can already do that by selecting the 'starts with' option in the autocomplete settings.

K-Max commentedWow. Can't believe I missed that (did a crapload of QA and tests and didn't see this). Thanks.
