Hopefully I'm silly and have overlooked something. I've been watching filemanager and attachment (both 5.x-1.x-dev versions) on a Drupal 5.2 setup and I noticed that the tmp_* attachment files aren't being moved/deleted from the "Temporary directory" that I set. I set the temp dir to "/tmp" and "/tmp/kb" and whichever directory is currently set keeps growing and growing as attachments are added. There are many *nix-ey ways to deal with this, but if I haven't misconfigured anything, shouldn't this module be removing these files?

I just switched off 'attachment' and 'filemanager' and enabled the core 'upload' module. When attaching via this module the tmp_* files are immediately removed after clicking 'Submit'. Uploading via IMCE, however, does not remove the tmp_* files when going through 'filemanager' or core 'upload'.

This version of Filemanager is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
