Hi There
Great module, i use it on several sites!
I have a site that hosts their podcast episodes on amazon S3, and it would be great to allow the download to be forced when the user clicks a link to the file which is housed at amazon S3.
Is there perhaps a way we can use File Force in such a way that i could indicate with php somehow that file force should do it's magic to a particular link? For example, i could use the rewrite output option in Views, or put the code in with PHP into a TPL.PHP file that shows that file link to the amazon S3 mp3.
I just don't know how to go about it - can anyone offer advice?

arski commentedHmm, I'm assuming that the links to these files are absolute, i.e. pointing directly to aws.amazon.com/... If that is the case then there is nothing Drupal can do, as it is simply not called when opening such files. What you can do is add some .htaccess rules (scratch that, these won't apply either).. OK, what you can do is set the file system to "private" and make sure that this applies to the AWS-hosted links too. Don't know if you use an additional module for that or not, but should be possible.
Let me know some more details if you're still having issue with this.
