I am using Views 7.x-3.0-beta3 version. When I add some field to my view display, which is type of Image, and then when I am setting this field, I choose File Force:Image formatter. The result displays whole image, not link to download the image. It behaves as if I set default formatter not File Force.

hmm, did you save the view and flush your cache just in case?

It works fine for me.

Hello,
I feel free to reopen this issue because it seems like I'm experiencing the same behaviour.
Config :

  • Views 7.x-3.3
  • File Force 7.x-1.0

If my "file force" file is a JPEG, the browser stills displays it, and doesn't open the download window... but if it's a PDF it works fine.
(FYI: MacOSX, firefox)

Any idea why ?

could you share the link to the jpeg image (delete your host url if you want, i just want to see the end bits)

Also, do you have the private download method enabled? Otherwise it won't work.
