I'm new at Drupal, so I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. But I use the public file system, and my uploaded files are stored in sites/default/files. I uploaded a file father.jpg, but when I try to download it from http://localhost:8082/download/sites/default/files/father.jpg the file cannot be found. I can't find any permissions that seem relevant to this. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey,

I'm not sure how this relates to this module? Did you add the "download" bit at the beginning of your link manually? If yes, then that's not how this module works - please take a look at the readme for details. If not then I really fail to see a connection between your issue and this module :)

Problem solved: it was me not taking time to understand and think about the mod's use with views. Works beautifully - thanks for very much for providing this module.
