Currently prototyping. This module will use modern JavaScript to improve the Field UI experience.
It is currently being built in React because many of us are able to work in React really quickly, and we aim to MVP this ASAP. If this gets to potential-core-inclusion the UI will likely be rebuilt in Svelte because
- Svelte is also very nice
- It's been effectively approved for core inclusion via the work on project browser
- It will be a chance to create robust equivalents for the hackier MVP parts of the React code 🙂
