Images are reduced when importing an RSS2

I am looking for a guide regarding the Feeds module. The problem is that I want to import the files from an rss2.xml file that has images in the content. These images are 950px wide, but when they are uploaded to the site, they are reduced to a width of 300 pixels, making the image lose quality.
I am using Http Fetcher. I would greatly appreciate anyone who can guide me to solve this matter.
