I have tried tweaking so many things with this, but I cannot figure it out. I need to create nodes from this JSON feed:
http://api.brightcove.com/services/library?command=find_playlist_by_id&p....
I need to use "id" for GUID and video_id, "name" for title, "publishedDate" for broadcast_date_start, "videoStillURL" to populate an image field, "shortDescription" for description and "tags" for tags.

I followed all the steps, I have the library installed. Some of the data gets grabbed. However, no matter how I putz with it, either all 30 or so items in the feed overwrite one another into a single node, or the nodes get created but never update themselves. Somehow GUID is getting messed up, but I can't tell how as the video_id field is always correct. Also, the date field (although I divide by 1000 and convert from UNIX using Tamper) never fills in.

I thought the most difficult part of getting this to work was going to be figuring out how to tell Feeds to import the image...

I am at my wits end. Can anyone help? Is there documentation anywhere that deals with images, etc? How do you troubleshoot this? Is there any way to easily view the attempted database queries? The DB we are using is our live, prod one so I cannot easily restart it to make changes to the conf...

Any assistance would be gratefully accepted. I am at my wits' end. I am in no way asking anyone to do this for me. I just cannot seem to find the right combination of modules to get the thing anywhere near functional, let alone done. :(

Sorry no one helped you with this. It can indeed be complicated.

If you're still struggling with this, feel free to re-open the issue.

As a note, it sounds like the GUID is getting set to the same value for each item.
