I have a situation where the feed items I want to import are full-length news stories, but I need to limit them in order not to violate copyright law. I would like to limit the body text to 150 characters, or leave the body out entirely and just have the headlines import.

But I have been unable to find a way to do this. I tried mapping the items to fields and then excluded those from view, but it appears that whatever I do, the full body of the feed item shows up in the body field of my feed nodes.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this? Thanks.
