Cron is running every 7 minutes on my server. It's running successfully according to Watchdog.

I'm pulling in a Twitter feed via feedapi that is getting about one new post per minute. I have cron running every seven minutes. Watchdog reports successful cron runs. But it's only pulling in the new feeds items about every third cron run.

At: node//edit under "parsers" I have Simple Pie Parser cache lifetime set to "0".

I can't seem to find any other relevant setting.

I'd much appreciate someone sending me in the right direction.

Currently there is a hard-wired limit for the maximal refresh frequency. See the top of feedapi.module:

// Minimum time that must elapse before a feed can be refreshed again on cron.
define('FEEDAPI_CRON_MIN_REFRESH_TIME', 1800);

This behaviour will be changed in the future, as you can see in the linked ticket.
