Can I manually select an individual RSS Feed item, and convert it into a node?
Or must I convert the entire RSS Feed into nodes, and have them either expire, or manually delete all that I don't want?

wmclark commentedThis is something I would like to see available for FeedAPI.
I think there should be an administrative option for "Only create nodes for moderated feed items."
This should provide an interface similar to the admin/content/node interface that allows you to check which feed items you wish to save as nodes.
Perhaps FeedAPI should save the feed item xml schema in some way in a temporary table until it is moderated and approved.
To be honest I thought this feature would be available when I first downloaded and tried FeedAPI. It seems like a critical feature for some publishers. We don't always get 100% relevant content in RSS Feeds and we should be able to stop them from being published on the site without having to create nodes and then deleting them.
