I updated to the latest build that was put up last night (10/11/2007) and now there are no teasers when I refresh.

Was it OK to upgrade by just coping the files over the previous version?

I think you use SimplePie as a parser. In that case I fixed the bug (you find the fix at the next daily build or instantly at the CVS). If you experience this strange thing again please share me more details. (exact parser/processor configuration, the easiest way: attach the database dump of your {feedapi} table)
