Facet for missing values doesn't work with AND operator

I'm trying to use the "Add facet for missing values" option, but it doesn't seem to work like other facet items when I have the AND operator for the facet. Choosing only the "none" item does display the content with missing value, but also hides all the other facet items. But clicking on the other items won't hide the "none" item. When using the AND operator, the "none" shouldn't hide other items.

After selecting other facet items and then clicking on "none" won't expand the results either with the content that is missing the value. I have tried with taxonomy terms and text fields indexed as strings in vanilla Drupal 7 and FactAPI 1.2.
