Hi all,
I'm having an odd issue with a facet on my search results page. Here are the steps I've taken.
1. Setup taxonomy list of States (as in the united states of america)
2. Have a bunch of nodes each one having 1 or more states assigned to them.
3. Setup two facets. 1 that says 'State' and one that says 'State > Name'
4. Do a search and look at facets
RESULT: Neither state facets list any actual states. 'State' says 'Featured News(15)' as a facet option and 'State > Name' just says 'array(15).
EXPECT: Either one should list all of the states that the results are showing, thus allowing me to select 'Massachusetts' and limit the results to nodes tagged w/ 'Massachusetts'
I'm using Search API and using solr.
Thanks in advanced,
Corey

cpliakas commentedHi Corey.
Could you do me a favor any try to replicate using core search plus Faceted Navigation for Search? This will help determine whether it is a Search API issue or Facet API issue.
Thanks,
Chris

coreycondardo commentedThis issue caused because I was feeding it the wrong field from the index. I needed to tell the facet to use Taxonomy term instead of name. That solved the issue!
