I've enabled the Excerpt module as prescribed. But I can't find where I'm able to use it.
From your README: "Excerpt module adds an 'excerpt' field to node forms, allowing you to enter a separate excerpt/summary/teaser for a node."
Can you tell me where to look for this as I'm administering my content?

You need to enable it per content-type. Under Administer, Content Management, Content Types, then edit the type you'd like to have the excerpt ability.

I downloaded the lastest version and enabled the module, but the edit Content Types doesn't display anything related to Excerpt...

I'm attaching a screen shot of the page I'm attempting to edit.
I see no reference in any of these sections to "Excerpt".
What am I missing?

You are right applying this patch display the excerpt field.
