Problem/Motivation

The setting for "Universal web tracking opt-out" in the privacy tab is unneeded and misleading since etracker is "do not track" by design as mentioned in this article https://www.etracker.com/en/tip-of-the-week-do-not-track/ .

Enabling this setting leads to the behaviour that the consent banner will not be shown at all for users having "Do not track" set in their browser settings.

Proposed resolution

Remove the setting completly since not needed for etracker.

Hey,

I try do understand from which part of the module we are talking about.
Is the submodule cookies_etracker also enabled?
Or just the "default" etracker installation? because you are mentioning a consent banner.
