Thanks for the module. Interesting! I've just installed and activated it ... and after my first Epub node creation PHP spits out following error message:

user warning: Unknown column 'n.language' in 'where clause' query: SELECT nid FROM sec_epub WHERE (n.language ='de' OR n.language ='' OR n.language IS NULL) AND ( bid = 0) in /pathX/sites/all/modules/epub/epub.module on line 480.

Any clue what this could be?

*lol* It was nice to have met you on Twitter just now! One basic question, @omissis: Your module is supposed to create an .epub-file [not only metadata description], correct? Yes, obviously! That's why one has to install those 3 Epub library files in "sites > all > libraries > epub". Remembering now! But now I am also remembering, that there's, unluckily, no .epub-file output on my dev site!

BTW: Do you work with standard CVS or GIT or...? Due to my Cygwin-Ubuntu usage (dev server is Ubuntu Lucid, workstation is Win Vista) I need to take care on 'specialities'.

Well at the moment I am porting the module from a private SVN to drupal.org CVS, in fact I am merging some new stuff I implemented while I was waiting for the CVS account. GIT is not on my roadmap yet, even though it's gonna happen at some point in the (near?) future.

Sorry, omissis, I've been using Drupal 7 since December 2010. I don't test 6.x-modules any longer. So I cannot give you any feedback.

I'm using beta2 and I'm still getting this error. My site is multi-lingual (English/Arabic). Could that be the problem ? Can I create Arabic epub with this module ?

well language shouldn't be a problem per se, the only three problems I can see are wrong encoding, poor reader hw/sw and bad css. about that problem, I'll check asap and see what I can find. btw, did you do a fresh install or updated fromprevious versions? does the same apply for the whole drupal installation?

I am currently using a fusion based template. I tried changing to Garland and re-enabling the epub module again. I created a new epub based on a book page I have, and the problem is still there. Here's the error I get:

user warning: Unknown column 'n.language' in 'where clause' query: SELECT DISTINCT nid FROM epub WHERE (n.language ='en' OR n.language ='' OR n.language IS NULL) AND ( bid = 12) in /home/kitabion/public_html/sites/all/modules/epub/epub.module on line 515.

I have a fresh install of epub beta2. I never installed a previous version before. I hope that helps to solve the problem. Let me know how I can help more.
