EPT Gallery Show More adds an accessible “show more” control to Extra Paragraph Types Image Gallery paragraphs.
It is intended for sites using the EPT Image Gallery module where editors may add larger image galleries, but the rendered page should initially show only a limited number of thumbnails. Remaining thumbnails stay in the DOM so gallery/lightbox integrations can continue to navigate the full image set.
The module provides a global configuration setting for the initial number of visible gallery items. The default is 6.
Features
- Adds progressive show-more/show-less behavior to EPT Image Gallery paragraphs.
- Keeps all gallery items available to JavaScript lightbox integrations.
- Leaves all thumbnails visible when JavaScript is unavailable.
- Uses accessible button markup with aria-expanded and aria-controls.
- Moves keyboard focus to the first newly revealed gallery item when expanded from the keyboard.
- Supports Drupal 10 and Drupal 11.
Post-Installation
Once enabled, this module will display a show more button when the number of images in the gallery exceeds the limit count. The limit count is configurable at /config/media/ept-gallery-show-more and the default is 6.
Additional Requirements
This module depends on the Extra Paragraphs Type (EPT): Image Gallery module. https://www.drupal.org/project/ept_image_gallery
