The entity reference view widget displays unpublished nodes (unpublished with workbench moderation) as selected on the node edit form. In other words,
unpublished nodes remain checked on the node edit form although they don't appear elsewhere. The view has a "published" "yes" filter.

The entity reference view selection widget does not display unpublished nodes, so that's working correctly.

Hi, I wouldn't consider this as a bug, you could totally have the need to reference unpublished nodes... It's not an assumption we can make in the module's code.

I need to be able to select unpublished entities for inclusion in a node. Am I right in assuming from above that it is or should be possible? The view shows them through the view UI but they will not show up in the modal. Any pointers?
