On a sandbox site with og_workflow, og_workflow_access
I get put of memory trying to edit a node that is under controlled by a workflow.

Disabling either Entityreference prepopulate
or og_workflow_access

will fix this.

I am having the same problem with rules leading to an Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): when submitting a node.

It's only happening for me with the admin user, so it's not critical, but just wanted to confirm the issue.
