The module

This module is based on Drupal's core REST module.
It exposes entities and their fields on a route.

Features

  • Select which fieldable entity will be exposed or not
  • Configurable route name for each entity type (/api/[your-name])
  • Select which fields are allowed per entity and HTTP method
  • Chose exposed field names

  • Separate UI in another module
  • Add view mode like system. The goal is to handle multiple possible output for the API (web front, mobile app...) or different contexts
  • Make api base path configurable. The path is actually hardcoded to "/api".
  • Work on caches
  • Use field permissions module to replace own/all contexts
  • Handle post and patch
