Sorry I cannot, I found that https://www.drupal.org/project/eck_pm does the job, but realized I don't need to panelize these at the moment.

If I get some time to come back to this I may give it another try. This module seemed a bit more elegant than eck_pm with the separation. Curious to know why ECK entities won't get picked up.

Stupid question: have you enabled them in admin/config/content/entity_panels ?

That's a fair question, I don't think I looked there, will look again.
I looked in the pages and didn't see it there first, then saw the Panalize entites and didn't see it there and gave up at that point.
