I installed Version 1.9 as suggested, but it has broken my views integration with Field Edit or the Permissions to allow the Field Edit to work in views.

Reverting to 1.8 again reinstates Field Edit functionality. So pretty certain that the changes from 1.8 to 1.9 are causing the problem, yet I am also aware that 1.8 has a security risk, which needs to be patched.

Would appreciate some help to resolve this so that latest Entity API does not break my site please.

This seems to be an issue with a change from Apache to Litespeed and caching issues with Drupal 7 and setup of .htaccess at webroot.

This was a change we did not ask for and little support from Webhost.

I would not recommend Litespeed. Stick with Apache if you can!
