As this module seems to have fallen dormant, I would like to offer to maintain as per http://drupal.org/node/251466.
My interest in this module is to develop it for D6 / D7 (I would not support the D5 version) for two purposes:
- To extend the existing purpose of giving site administrators a page showing modules installed, with admin links.
- To add a more basic page showing the enabled modules (possibly by project) for anonymous users - with the target audience of demo sites. This would be my main focus.
I think exposing the {system} table to views could be a great way of achieving both of these, whilst also allowing users of the module flexibility to override the defaults given.

mlncn commentedHi Julian, there's a difference between not well maintained and abandoned ;-)
There is a Drupal 7 upgrade from Tracey Hurley that i should have committed long ago - i can send it for your building on, and i like exposing {system} to Views.
I can add you as a maintainer but would appreciate a patch submitted first!

juliangb commentedHi Benjamin,
That's excellent - it's even better this way.
Would you be able to commit that D7 port, or post in an issue? It's great if everything is public so that anyone else can chip in if they like. I presume this will be in HEAD?
I will work on a few patches and post in their own issues. If you wish to add me as a maintainer after this, feel free, but I'm also happy if you are around to commit anything you feel is suitable.
From the point of view of this support request, I think we're now fixed - and we can follow up individual issues as and when.
Thanks.
