Hi
I have installed ELMS, and the LMS is great.But while adding course content i was unable to figure out how to add quiz as course content.There is only two types available (Page,Reference page) to add course content.
So is there a way to add quiz in course or Am i missing something?

This should be fixed in the next release but to "fix it" now

  • Get the latest version of the elms_features code (6.x-1.x-dev)
  • Make sure the ELMS Quiz feature is turned on
  • Go to admin/content/book/settings and check the boxes of things you want to be able to add to the outline
  • Go to admin/content/book/outline_designer and set the icons the way you'd like for these new types
  • You can now either highlight text on an existing page and associate a quiz or add a quiz through the content outline

When i add quiz as a course content by your above method, The Table of Content doesnt appear on quiz nodes.So please suggest me a solution whereby which i can display TOC even on the quiz nodes.

Hmm.. a few things:

  • Once you allow it in the outline you'll need to use the content outlining tool to add a quiz if you want it to show up in the book structure.
  • Also try going to admin/build/context/list/elms_content-navigation/edit and see if its setup to display this block when ELMS Content is active
  • Also make sure ELMS Content feature is active

Also kicking this up to dev as issues are resolved there first.

I tried checking with the path admin/build/context/list/elms_content-navigation/edit
and the "elms_content" feature is enabled under "ACTIVE SPACE FEATURES". I also selected ELMS_QUIZ in that same options but still the block isnt appearing whenever the quiz nodes are visited.
Is there any other option I have missed to achieve this task?

in context, those are the rules by which the block WOULD show up; so the elms content feature would need to be active. Also, if the quiz isn't put in the outline but is instead referenced into a page then I'm not sure going to it will show the content outline.
