Hi there,

I have a field named "Image" for my content type. I have set the file source as elfinder and have disabled alt text filed. When I try to upload an image through node/add/atricle , even though the image has been uploaded, I am unable to see the image preview.

I've just encountered the same issue on a local development installation. Comparing it with other installations where it seems to work I found two key elements that were different:

  1. if I set the image field settings in "number of values" to "Unlimited" instead of "1", it seems to work and the input form is updated correctly with the thumbnail of the image
  2. the server of the other installations where the single upload image seems to work is running on PHP 5.3, whereas the development server is running 5.6

These are just some pointers that I thought could help track the issue.
Let me know if I can contribute any other testing.
