Hi there,
I am using this great module for some time, but in my last project, I needed property "created" to be editable. I did all the steps or at least what I think is the way to do it.
The steps I did:

  1. Create a new entity type.
  2. Name the type of entity and enable property "title" and "created".
  3. Next, I clicked on the newly created entity and clicked the package, I went to "edit" tab and checked the properties "title" and "created" to be shown on managed fields.
  4. Finally I went to the "list of the entity", click on "add..." and shows the form, it only shows the title! The field "created" doesn't appear :(

What i'm doing wrong?
Any ideas?

Cheers

Well, at least I can affirm that this issue exists. None of the properties are shown.

It seems this is just not implemented. I suspect the idea is that you define your own widgets for this (in a hook alter), I've seen several comments hinting at this. It's quite unclear.

The properties are in the database. When they are "managed" they become visible in the ui - but for example, the "author" of the entity though showing in the ui for editing of display of fields, and shows "visible" - it isn't shown.

Workarounds would include using views which display fields - views grabs these properties just fine - or programatically display them / modify the properties with the Entity API. Views showing the rendered entities skip all properties except for Title, as far as I can tell.
