The text for the links 'edit node', 'edit type' and 'unpublish' is not translatable. Probably they need to be wrapped in a t() function.

I modified eazyedit.module so it matched my needs. Especially I modified the lines 106, 111, 116, 121, 148, 171, 201, 204, 224, 225. See attached file.

WARNING: I'm not a programmer, maybe I changed too much, maybe too little!

All of these lines call the function _l() which is a private function to call the drupal built in function l();

//helper function to build an eazy edit link.
function _l($text, $path, $title = '') {
  return l('<span>' . t($text) . '</span>', $path,
  array(
      'attributes' => array('title' => t($title)),
      'query' => drupal_get_destination(),
      'html' => TRUE,
      'alias' => TRUE
  )
  );
}

If you notice the text is ran through a t() function and therefore makes it translatable. Marking this as fixed as this is by design. If you have any other issues let us know.

Looks like we have duplicate issues here. I'm almost positive you can't pass nothing but variables into t(). It needs to have the text and line number for each string. How can you provide a translation for t($something)?

That's why when variables are used in t() you do:

t('This is the !number', array('!number' => $number));
