hey,
if you hit the leave button, you are disconnected but not full like if you close the muc window in pidgin.
If you want to reconnect it takes in comparison with a "fresh join" a long time to connect to muc.

sry for filling the isssue queue but I want to help testing this module ;)

I guess you are referring to when you go from one page to another. I will look into it.

;) yes this is the progress. I themed the dxmpp muc like a node (see the attachment)- that is why I spoke about "leaving" the site but this also happens if anyone go from one page to another ;).
