[Note - this isn't a drush problem, but something in my config that I can't find. Yet]

I've got a few drupal instances running on a CentOS box (all multi-sites, all working, no issues) and on a couple of them, if I run a simple drush statement such as:
drush @alias status

I get a return:

require_once(): Filename cannot be empty command.inc:576 [warning]
<font color=ff0000>
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/bin/drush/includes/command.inc on line 576
Drush command could not be completed. [error]

Now I'm assuming I've managed to introduce something funny into an httpd.conf or php.ini. In the interests of cutting down the duration of the {Scratch Chin / Face Palm } cycle, has anyone seen this before?

Fixed it. Interesting as well:

There was a symbolic link to a directory in a couple of my "sites/all/modules" directories [must have been a chair/keyboard issue], and drush was failing when it tried to run:

foreach ($list as $module => $filename) {
   [...]
   $load_test_inc = dirname($filename) . "/" . $module . ".drush.load.inc";
   [...]
   require_once($load_test_inc);
}

(which is not unreasonable!)

Deleted the link, and everything works as expected.

Is there a test drush could / should do to make it more resiliant in this instance? If so, please suggest it; if not, please close. Thanks.
