Hi, we are using drupalit at the moment for our voting. The problem is that on some contestants, the votes are not sticking. Our site is http://nexthotmoviestar.com and on of the problem nodes is at http://nexthotmoviestar.com/user/90 - no matter how many times she is voted for, the votes are not sticking. We do not know if this is happening on other nodes or not. Are you aware of a glitch with this and is there a fix?

Are you using a custom content type for your users? Such as user-node or user-profiles?

Yes, it is a cck node-profile. What was happening was:

For some reason the database had been corrupted. Some nodes appeared twice and, when a vote was entered - both records were written to so some people had two listings in the database. I deleted the second copy and that was fine. In other cases, each time a vote was entered, the node was recorded as if it were a new node with a vote total of one. However, the total on the actual count kept resetting to zero because one of the entries in the database had zero as the vote total. I deleted all the multiple records and corrected the vote total and it seems to be working now as well. I'm not sure when or why the database became corrupt but the fix was as simple as manually correcting the database.

We have had several people tell us that they are receiving error messages when they are trying to vote for various people. We have not been able to replicate this however and I am checking into it.

I would probably lean in the direction of the Vote up/Down module as this module is abandoned ( I believe) until 6x.
