How do I join?
Please visit the registration page to create an account. After submitting your registration you will receive an email with additional steps.
If you are certain that you did not receive an email (be sure to check your spam folder) please create an issue.
Once you have logged in you can either join existing channels or create your own. A list of channels grouped by category can be found here.

Since rocket.chat is open source it has clients for all the operating systems including Linux:
